Last night we had the weekly Tuesday night scooter ride. This time to Shrimp Shack in Orange Park. Around 20 miles each way. We had around 15 riders this time, including several on motorcycles. That includes me on my Honda NC700X.

Nice Bill! In 2015 there is some kind of a chance for a ride down the east coast to Key West. If that happens I'll plan to swing by to say hello, maybe hit the Shrimp Shack.
ReplyDeleteHi David, You will be welcome in our fine city at any time. I would gladly take you to any restaurant you choose. Shrimp Shack was new to us and would not be my first choice to show you what Jacksonville has to offer. It was good, but we have better.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to know what you think of the NC700X. While I'm not in the market for a new bike, if I were I think that just may be the one.
ReplyDeleteMy company has me going over to Jacksonville every now and again. So advice on what to see and where the local eats is always welcome. :)
Robert, I have been enjoying riding the NC700X. 7,000 miles in six months, including one 2500 mile ride. It is big and clumsy compared to the Vespa GT, but is in its element on the highway. I also appreciate the storage in the trunk where the gas tank would be located normally. If looking, I would wait for the upcoming NC750X, as it fixes some of the minor weaknesses, power, vibration and instrumentation.
ReplyDeleteAs for places to dine in Jacksonville, we have many good ones. Let me know what you like and I will steer you in the right direction. Bill
