During that time, I have had several nice rides, highlighted by the Big Daddy Ride with Ken. It included the ride down on some of my favorite roads.
Visiting the Don Garlits (Big Daddy) museum of drag racing in Ocala (including a tour of the shop by Big Daddy himself),
Then seeing our buddy Walt and his acrobatic airplane in Sebring,
Then cars testing their speed on the Sebring Raceway next door, where we could have the run of the place, even visiting the paddock area where they were preparing the cars.
It ended with a ride to Titusville to meet up with Bob Arnold and the ride home.
But the month has been dominated by the upcoming trip to Greece for the VCdM Greek Island Rally.
I work by myself these days and have many projects that are all needing to reach a good state before I can go on the trip. So workdays and weekends have been dominated by the need to produce drawings for these projects. But after a big push, I think I will make it. Then I can relax.
I hope to post a few photos of the rally, maybe one from each of the three islands where we will have scooters. That plus Athens, where we will spend three nights.
So be on the lookout.
